We are a leading Australian bridal and couture fashion studio, renowned for our luxury craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team and support the operational side of our dispatch and receiving functions.
About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant in our dispatch and pick/pack team. This is a casual, fixed-term role with a start date of Monday, 13th January 202s. You will be supporting our head office during a busy period and contributing to the smooth running of warehouse operations. The role is full-time, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, from Jan 13th, 2024 to February 28th 2025.
Responsibilities
- Packing and unpacking incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Sorting items and ensuring all goods are stored correctly.
- Managing dispatch tasks including labelling, wrapping, and data entry.
- Supporting inventory management and ensuring accuracy of all records.
- Performing general warehouse tasks, including order processing and administrative duties.
- Assisting the team with additional ad-hoc duties as needed.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and order processing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Location: Mulgrave, Melbourne
Start date: Monday, 13th January 2025
Casual Role: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Fixed-term until: 28th February 2025, with potential extension.
